Zusammenfassung

Softup Technologies GmbH is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a full-time, remote position with a leading fintech payment processor. You will design and maintain a scalable payment cloud platform, migrating to GCP, while collaborating with development teams to deploy features in a high-throughput environment.

Responsibilities include Docker-based containerization, Terraform automation, and monitoring with Prometheus/ELK, plus CI/CD with Git/Jenkins to ensure security and availability of live payment

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP or AWS) in production.
• Strong containerization and orchestration skills with Docker.
• Experience automating infrastructure with Terraform.
• Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK) and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins).

We are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time B2B remote basis, working with one of the largest payment processing companies in the market, a leading fintech player powering high-volume, mission-critical payment platforms.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Design, implement, and maintain a scalable, secure, and highly reliable payment cloud platform (with a planned migration to GCP), supporting a large-scale payment ecosystem
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient deployment of new features and updates in a high-throughput environment
• Build and manage containerized environments using Docker to support critical financial infrastructure
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management using Terraform
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize platform performance to ensure high availability, resilience, and security for payment systems operating at scale
• Continuously enhance delivery processes and tooling to accelerate time to market in a fast-moving fintech environment
• Participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring timely resolution of production incidents impacting live payment operations

We are looking for someone who has:

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP or AWS, along with Docker, and Terraform
• Solid understanding of the Java and Spring ecosystem
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and ELK
• Proven experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Jenkins
• Experience in building and maintaining payment platforms is considered a strong advantage, especially in high-volume transaction environments
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact, deadline-driven environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Residence within the EU and eligibility to work on a B2B basis
