Job summary

HCLTech Germany invites an experienced DevOps / Cloud Engineer to drive modern deployment, automation, and cloud transformation initiatives. You will design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications and APIs using Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS.

This role requires minimum 5 years in DevOps/SecOps, strong Python skills, and experience with Jira, Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps. You will collaborate in an Agile environment to embed DevSecOps practices and optimize infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, SecOps, cloud deployments, and application modernization.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python; exposure to TypeScript and SQL is highly desirable.
• Experience with Jira, Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and modern SDLC practices.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience building pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Azure cloud technologies including Databricks Asset Bundles.
• Proven experience managing containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, monitor, and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
• Implement and enhance DevSecOps practices, ensuring security is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support deployment and management of Web Applications, RESTful APIs, and AI-driven solutions.
• Collaborate closely with development, security, and product teams in an Agile environment.
• Automate infrastructure, deployments, and operational processes to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements.
