ZEISS Group is seeking an experienced professional to lead the end-to-end field integration of lithographic exposure optics. You will oversee commissioning, verification, and implementation of processes and tools, with documentation and handover to Engineering and Customer Support.

You will conduct approvals, tests and audits, document work instructions, train the Customer Support team, and ensure a seamless handover to Engineering—with a focus on quality, traceability, and measurable customer value.Your role• You will lead the comprehensive development of processes and tools for the field integration (assembly) of sensitive components in lithographic exposure optics.• You are responsible for commissioning, verification, and implementation of processes and tools, as well as their handover to Customer Support and Engineering, and for careful documentation of results.• You document processes with work instructions and deliver training for Customer Support staff.• You support prototype development, e.g., through requirements definition and validation. You coordinate the setup of prototypes through to successful use.• You plan approvals, tests, and experiments in both workshop and cleanroom, carry them out in collaboration with the specialist departments, and document the results.• You align requirements and tolerances with multiple interfaces, compare and document them, and implement them.• You coordinate the execution of developments through audits and reviews within project parameters of time, cost, and requirements.• You identify risks in development and serial production, investigate weaknesses, develop improvement proposals, and address issues in a targeted, expert manner.Your profile• A technical degree with a very good grade (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Physics, or similar) or a technical technician qualification in a relevant field.• Initial experience in process development, preferably in the area of sensitive mechatronic parts.• Expertise in the assembly and handling of delicate components as well as in electrical tooling, preferably with exposure to higher cleanliness standards, and a broad technological understanding.• You are eager to work autonomously and responsibly in a team as a curious pioneer, enjoy goal achievement, and value excellent communication with colleagues.• You are willing to take on responsibility, create structure, and see yourself as a reliable, assertive problem solver.• Willingness to occasional business travel, proficient in MS Office, CAD, SAP, Polarion, and SharePoint, and very good German and English language skills, both spoken and written.Your ZEISS Recruiting Team:Sandra Köhler
