A global hospitality leader seeks a Project Manager based in Munich to oversee brand compliance and manage relationships across projects. The role requires a Master’s in architecture or design, fluency in English and German, and at least 8 years of experience in hospitality-focused project management. Based in Munich reporting directly to the VP of DACH.
Representing Accors interests across all projects acting as the guardian of Accor brand standards ensuring their consistent implementation.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of Accors brand and building standards staying continuously updated on technological innovations and industry best practices.
Provide ongoing support and follow-up for new developments conversion / renovation projects and property rebranding within the DACH region.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and external partners as well as internally with Development Operations Brand & Marketing Procurement and other key stakeholders.
Oversee complex projects while coordinating with multiple consultants and stakeholders ensuring compliance with Accor Hotels brand standards economic viability operational quality and guest satisfaction.
Languages
Fluency in English & German is essential.
Education
Masters degree in architecture or interior design
Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in architecture interior design and project management ideally on large-scale hospitality or commercial projects
Minimum 5 years in project management including budgeting contractual oversight and client relationship management
Proven ability to coordinate consultants stakeholders and cross‑functional internal teams
International experience is a strong advantage as well as having the capacity to travel frequently
Experience as a Design Manager or equivalent within a multinational hospitality group or a client‑facing hotel design consultancy is highly preferred
Strong ability to implement and interpret brand standards and design guidelines.
Solid design spatial planning and project management skills.
Comprehensive understanding of DACH or German planning process (LP 18) and overall project lifecycle including local and EU regulations MEP systems Fire Life Safety and hotel planning regulations to support effective planning and collaboration internal teams and external consultants.
Experience with green buildings and a strong understanding of sustainable design principles is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)
Experienced in architectural design and presentations software such as AutoCAD Photoshop InDesign etc.
Digitally agile and confident using digital platforms for reporting project management collaboration etc.
Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills
Strong relationship-building and negotiation capabilities
