About the Role

Our major aerospace client is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to provide hands‑on support for Primary Structural repair activities on a regional aircraft platform. You will work closely with the design lead, who will coordinate and oversee day‑to‑day tasking within the repair support team. This is a fully onsite role requiring a strong background in aircraft structural repair design and airframe certification.

Key Responsibilities

You will support the engineering team with a broad range of repair design activities, including but not limited to:

• Creating and updating design solutions for Primary Structural repairs
• Integrating and referencing updates within the Structural Repair Manual (SRM)
• Supporting the application of standard aerospace manufacturing processes
• Reviewing and checking validation reports related to repairs
• Assessing and resolving structural‑related production non‑conformities (concessions).

Required Expertise

The ideal candidate will bring:

• 10+ years’ experience in design engineering for aircraft repairs
• Strong background in Primary Structural repair design
• Experience with airframe structural part/product certification
• Ability to work effectively within a fast‑paced, onsite engineering environment
