Zusammenfassung

Hangar 901 is seeking a Deputy Accountable Manager to lead, supervise and optimize Base Maintenance activities within a regulated international setting. You will ensure regulatory compliance, safety standards and financial/resource planning across multiple locations, with regular travel to Hahn Airport.

The role demands at least five years in Heavy Base Maintenance, leadership in an EASA Part-145 context, and strong English skills; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Completed university degree in engineering, aviation, business administration or comparable discipline.
• Equivalent vocational qualification with substantial aviation maintenance and management experience.
• At least five years of professional experience in Heavy Base Maintenance.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within an EASA Part-145 organization.
• Strong knowledge of EASA Part-145 requirements, aviation legislation, the MOE and associated organizational procedures.
• Sound understanding of Safety Management Systems, Compliance Monitoring, Human Factors, risk-based decision-making and occurrence reporting.
• Commercial understanding of budgets, resource planning, cost structures and operational performance.
• Experience dealing with aviation authorities, audits and airline or MRO customers.
• Very good written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantage.
• Confident use of ERP systems and standard digital workplace applications.
• High integrity, personal accountability and the ability to make clear, fact-based decisions.

As Deputy Accountable Manager, you take on a key management role within our EASA Part-145 organization. You support the Accountable Manager in ensuring that our maintenance activities are performed safely, compliantly and with the necessary financial, personnel, technical and organizational resources. At the same time, you help shape the further development of our maintenance organization across our locations, with a particular focus on Base Maintenance, operational performance and digitalization.

The role is full-time and does not follow a regular shift pattern. Flexible availability is required in line with operational and regulatory responsibilities.

What you bring

• A completed university degree in engineering, aviation, business administration or a comparable discipline
• Alternatively, an equivalent vocational qualification combined with substantial aviation maintenance and management experience
• At least five years of professional experience in Heavy Base Maintenance
• Demonstrated leadership experience within an EASA Part-145 organization
• Strong knowledge of EASA Part-145 requirements, aviation legislation, the MOE and associated organizational procedures
• Sound understanding of Safety Management Systems, Compliance Monitoring, Human Factors, risk-based decision-making and occurrence reporting

• Your permanent place of work will be Hahn Airport. Due to the cross-location responsibilities of the position, regular business travel to other HANGAR 901 locations is required.

An aircraft maintenance license is not mandatory solely for this position. Any authority acceptance, internal authorization or qualification required for the delegated responsibilities must be completed before the respective duties are exercised.

These are your tasks

• Support the provision of sufficient financial, personnel, technical and organizational resources for compliant maintenance operations
• Promote the company's safety and quality policy and contribute to a positive and proactive safety culture
• Monitor compliance with aviation regulations, authority requirements, customer requirements and approved company procedures
• Support the preparation, execution and follow-up of authority, customer and internal audits
• Participate in management reviews and evaluate relevant safety, compliance, quality, resource and operational performance indicators
• Drive cross-functional improvement initiatives involving Base Maintenance, Line Maintenance, Compliance Monitoring, Safety Management and Production Planning
• Support the controlled development, operational efficiency and digitalization of the approved maintenance organization

When formally authorized, you will also represent the company towards competent authorities and customers and ensure continuity in management decisions and regulatory communication.
