Pennsylvania Perio & Implants, formerly Dr. Veasey B. Cullen Periodontics & Implant Dentistry, has served the York and Hanover communities for over 50 years. Now led by Dr. Dennis Sourvanos, DDS, DScD, a University of Pennsylvania–trained periodontist, we are a modernizing, community-focused specialty practice. About the Role

This is not a typical dental front desk position. While you will support daily back‑office operations, you will also manage our digital systems, photography/videography, and social media presence. You will play a central role in our transition from paper records to a fully digital workflow while also helping us share our message and reach more patients online.

This position is in‑person only and requires working at both the York and Hanover offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check patients in/out, answer phones, manage appointment scheduling, and assist with insurance verification.
• Maintain and transition records: support scanning, uploading, and managing digital EMR (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Open Dental experience is required) while still handling legacy paper charts.
• Ensure patient flow between front and clinical areas is smooth, efficient, and professional.
• Handle sensitive patient data with discretion and HIPAA compliance.

Digital Systems & Technology

• Operate digital photography and videography equipment in‑office (before/after clinical photos, educational videos).
• Edit digital content using standard software and AI‑based tools.
• Manage digital files securely and integrate images/videos into EMR when needed.

Marketing & Social Media

• Create and post professional, compliant, and curated content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
• Demonstrate a proven track record with measurable results (follower growth, engagement rates, campaign success).
• Maintain a consistent online voice aligned with the practice’s patient‑first values.
• Collaborate with Dr. Sourvanos to develop campaigns for patient education and community outreach.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required (marketing, communications, healthcare admin, or related field preferred).
• Experience:
  • At least 5 years working in a dental or medical office environment.
• At least 5 years of professional social media management experience (in a dental, medical, or related professional setting).
• Digital Skills:
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and dental imaging software. Experience with the ADOBE software suite is recommended.
• Skilled in digital photography, videography, and editing (traditional and AI‑based tools).
• Social Media Expertise:
  • Must submit a detailed resume showcasing past campaigns, strategies, and metrics.
• Ability to show results (examples: engagement statistics, audience growth, campaign ROI).
• Professionalism: Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to connect warmly with patients on the phone and in person.
• Other Requirements: Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between York and Hanover offices.
