Job summary

Circonomit GmbH, based in Cologne, is seeking a Delivery Lead to guide customer projects from kickoff to first usable results. You’ll run meetings, set scope, and coordinate engineers and modellers, translating business questions into model requirements.

Technical background required; you’ll review technical work to ensure quality before presenting to clients. Fluency in German and English is essential, with a visa for Germany already in place. Hybrid work from Cologne with regional travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading complex projects from scoping to delivery in industry or technical consulting.

Hi, I'm Dana, CEO at Circonomit. We build a decision platform that industrial companies use to plan their production. What our customer projects need right now:

• Each project starts with an open decision problem and incomplete ERP and Excel data. The customer needs to know early which result the available data supports.
• We run several customer projects in parallel, without a standard process for kickoff, scoping, data and first result.
• Requirements that come up in several projects need to go back into the product.

This role owns delivery from kickoff to the first usable result, including the process. You run customer meetings on your own, agree on scope and expectations, and hand the technical work to our engineers and modellers. You understand their work well enough to review it before it goes to the customer. That needs a technical background; building it yourself does not.

How you will be measured: time from kickoff to the first usable result, and how much of each project follows a repeatable process.

We came out of RWTH research, raised €2.8M with Vorwerk Ventures, and have customers using our models today. Small team, Cologne office.

• Technical background: engineering, computer science, data engineering, logistics and supply chain, or finance with operations research.

• Delegating technical work: briefing engineers and reviewing results.
• You have built or improved a delivery process.
• A track record of setting something up from scratch.
• Translating business questions into requirements for a model: objective, levers, data.
• Practical work with incomplete or inconsistent ERP and Excel data.
• German at C1 level or above, and fluent English. Customer conversations are in German.
• Existing work visa for Germany.

Bonus: hands-on experience building data pipelines or optimization models.
