HelloFresh is seeking a Demand Steering role in Berlin to configure and monitor delivery offerings across European markets. You will balance customer demands with production and logistics constraints, owning the in-house demand steering tool and validating holiday shifts and peak periods.

You will work with supply chain planners, market teams, and tech partners to translate constraints into configurations, documenting changes and maintaining reliability as expansion continues.

Qualifikationen

• Data-focused: write SQL queries, read dashboards, identify signals from noise.
• Methodical approach: documentation and proper processes while systems are being built.

• Long-term ownership: develop mastery in one system.
• Fluent English and based in Berlin or willing to move to Berlin.

About the role: What's in the Box

Every day, a defined set of rules decides what every new HelloFresh customer sees: a unique mix of delivery days, prices and recommended selections. Your job, should you choose to accept it, is to keep that rule-set correct in a constantly moving environment: configuring it, checking it daily, documenting it, and fixing exceptions before a misconfiguration reaches a customer or a warehouse.

You'll join Demand Steering, the team within Network Operations Europe that shapes those offerings so they add up to a plan our warehouses and logistics partners can actually execute. That means balancing what customers want against the real constraints of the journey from click to delivery: every box still has to be produced in a shift at a production facility and delivered by a van on a route.

Using our in-house demand steering tool, you'll configure the delivery offering customers see at checkout across your own set of European markets: which delivery days and time windows are offered, at what price, with which recommendation, and to which customer segment. As technical owner of that configuration, you'll balance demand against capacity: working with supply chain planners, local market teams and our tech partners to validate holiday shifts and peak periods, check daily that the offering behaved as intended, and catch misconfigurations before a customer or a warehouse feels them..

What you’ll do: The Recipe

• Own the delivery proposition for your set of European markets: the delivery days, time windows, cut-offs, pricing nudges and recommendations customers see when they place or change an order.
• Configure and calibrate our in-house demand steering tool, so demand is guided towards the capacity we have rather than blocked outright when a production site or delivery route fills up.
• Monitor daily whether the offering ran as expected across your markets, and get to the bottom of it when it didn't: a data pipeline that stalled, a setting that's off, or a shift in how customers are behaving.
• Dig into the data with SQL and our monitoring dashboards to establish what actually happened,.
• Make it make sense to turn technical outcomes into a clear story for colleagues who don't live inside the tool.
• Partner with supply chain planners, logistics teams, local market colleagues and our tech partners to translate their constraints into configurations, and to flag early where a forecast and a delivery plan are heading for a collision.
• Lead the validation for holiday shifts and peak periods, giving a clear go/no-go recommendation backed by evidence rather than instinct.
• Shape where the tool goes next, improving the configurations, checks and documentation that keep demand steering reliable as we roll the model out across more markets.

What you’ll bring: The Ingredients

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, operations or a related field, where you've seen how a change to what you offer customers affects their journey
• Confidence with data: you write your own SQL queries, work comfortably in spreadsheets, and read a dashboard closely enough to tell a real signal from noise.
• A methodical way of working: you like things documented and done properly, and you stay effective while the system around you is still being built out.
• The ability to explain a technical problem to a non-technical colleague, and to make a recommendation land with evidence behind it.
• An appetite for ownership over the long haul: you'd rather take one system and develop true mastery in it than move from project to project.
• Fluent English, and you're based in Berlin or ready to move there.
