Zusammenfassung

Nova is seeking a senior retirement services leader to head the Defined Benefit Team. You will manage 10–15 actuaries and DB specialists, oversee service quality for clients, and drive performance against metrics.

The role requires deep ERISA knowledge, extensive DB/cash balance experience, and a track record of coaching staff, salary and performance reviews. You will collaborate with sales, accounting, and leadership teams.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of retirement plan industry experience with DB, cash balance, or combo plans.
• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in the retirement plan field.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRC, Treasury Regulations, and nondiscrimination testing.
• Ability to manage workload towards weekly goals in a results-oriented team environment.
• Able to interpret provisions of pre-approved and individually designed plan documents.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Keep current with new and proposed regulations and legislation.
• Oversee the DB plan termination process and help streamline it.
• Build a team and process to complete DB plan distribution packages efficiently and accurately.
• Manage client special projects, coordinate priorities, communicate progress, and ensure accurate, timely deliverables.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• 10+ years of retirement plan industry experience, including significant experience with defined benefit plans, cash balance plans, or combo plan administration
• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in the retirement plan field
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, Treasury Regulations, and nondiscrimination testing, including ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy, and 401(a)(4) requirements
• Ability to manage and prioritize workload towards weekly goals in a results-oriented team environment
• Able to interpret provisions of pre-approved and individually designed plan documents
• Strong research and analytical skills
