Qualifikationen

• Sound knowledge of SW development and interface definitions (C, C++, ADA 95, Python, GDB).
• SW design and SW architecture for embedded software and distributed systems.
• Solid foundation and hands-on skills in Linux environment and development toolchain.
• V-model based SW development process.
• Experience regarding Eurofighter avionics and MaTE Bus simulator Defensive Aids Subsystems and EW fundamentals.
• Tools such as git, confluence, jira, bitbucket and DOORS; IT literacy with MS Office.

• Software design and development including optimization and further development of existing subsystems.
• Retargeting of embedded aircraft software based on M68k or PPC CPU.
• Interface harmonization and implementation with internal partners and external suppliers.
• Support of the integration and testing activities at the simulation devices in close collaboration of other subject matter experts.
• Contribution to all phases of the software development process from requirements engineering to subsystem qualification.

Specific & Technical Skills / Experience Required

• Sound knowledge of SW development and interface definitions (C, C++, ADA 95, Python, GDB)
• SW design and SW architecture for embedded software and distributed systems
• Solid foundation and hands on skills in Linux environment and development toolchain
• V-model based SW development process
• Experience regarding Eurofighter avionics and MaTE Bus simulator Defensive Aids Subsystems and electronic warfare funamentals Linux development environment and related development toolchains
• Tools such as git, confluence, jira, bitbucket, DOORS)
• IT literate (MS Office applications)

• Educated to degree level in computer science or engineering
• Experience across entire software engineering lifecycle for complex systems
• Good language skills in English, both written and spoken

• Strong communication skills with an ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment
