Vinted is seeking a Decision Scientist to join our Payments Intelligence team. You will work across domains to shape payments products by turning data into actionable insights and by building self‑service dashboards for stakeholders.

You will apply statistical methods, run analyses, and monitor KPIs while communicating results to both technical and non‑technical audiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in a decision science or data analytics role.
• Strong analytical thinking with business impact focus.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Experience with BI tools (Looker/Tableau/Power BI).
• Knowledge of statistical methods and A/B testing.
• Excellent communication, able to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent in English.

Information About The Position

As a Decision Scientist, you will work in a cross‑functional Payments Intelligence team that supports all Payments Business Unit across different domains. This role is part of the Data Science & Analytics (DSA) function, reporting to the DSA Manager for Payments Intelligence. You will play a key role in shaping our payments products by leveraging data to drive impactful decision‑making. Currently, Payments is a quickly growing business area, which brings its own challenges and opportunities. To be successful and satisfied in this role, you need to be comfortable with a fast pace and continuous change. In this position, you’ll

About You

• Experience in a Decision Science or Data Analytics role
• Good analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to balance depth of analysis with business impact
• Familiarity with SQL and Python
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
• Knowledge of statistical methods, such as A/B testing, regression analysis, and other inferential techniques
• Highly results‑oriented and comfortable with iterative processes
• Strong communicator who can convincingly present results to both technical and non‑technical audiences
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Workation policy

Better balance holidays with workdays by working remotely! Up to 90 days per year in the EU, of these, 21 days can be spent globally. For non-EU citizens, it's 21 days worldwide. This can be combined with time off for vacation or personal time.

The annual gross salary range for this position is: €69.600-€100.100 EUR
