A leading cloud services provider in Germany is hiring Trainee Data Center Technicians to join their Work-Based Learning Program. In this role, you'll support Data Center operations by installing and maintaining equipment and troubleshooting hardware issues alongside experienced technicians. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is growing rapidly, and we are looking for Trainee Data Center Technicians (DCT) to join our expanding team as part of our Work-Based Learning Program (WBLP). Trainees will participate in our 12-week work and training program in our Data Centers. As a DCT Trainee you will work as part of the Data Center Operations (DCO) Team whose primary responsibility is the maintenance and upkeep of the Data Center infrastructure. Our Data Centers are large-scale high-density centers where you will be working on changing the face of cloud technology. In addition, all candidates should be willing to work both independently and with a team. Work prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to react quickly are critical to being successful.
A day in the life As a Trainee Technician, you will work with experienced Data Center Technicians, following them during hardware and network troubleshooting. You will have the opportunity to provide our internal workforce with infrastructure related support, resolving tickets related to HW (Motherboard, RAM, CPU, GPU, etc) and networking tickets (Link Down, Optics Replacements, Switch Replacements, etc). At all times you will be working with experienced Data Technicians or on defined directed workflows.
