Zusammenfassung

Stark Defence is seeking a Data / Software Engineer to own end-to-end data pipelines for its autonomous defence systems. You will design, build, and optimize scalable architectures to capture, process telemetry, sensor, and video data across product lines, enabling rapid testing and deployment.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3+ years in data/software engineering roles.
• Proficient in Python, Rust, or Go.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with telemetry, sensor or video data streams.
• Experience with developer tooling and CI/CD workflows.

About the team

Our Data & Analytics team will provide critical cross-functional support across all STARK defence programs. We build robust infrastructure, tools, and data pipelines that ingest and process massive streams of telemetry, sensor, and video data from our autonomous systems. Working in a collaborative and fast-paced engineering environment, our mission is to empower software, hardware, and operational teams with clean, reliable, and real-time data.

Your mission

As a Data / Software Engineer, you will own the end-to-end data pipelines and tooling supporting STARK's autonomous defence systems. You will design, build, and optimize scalable data architectures to capture, process, and analyze complex telemetry, sensor, and video data across multiple product lines. By automating data flows and creating high-performance internal tools, you will enable rapid decision-making, testing, and continuous deployment across all engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines for real-time ingestion and processing of telemetry, sensor, and video data.

• Develop robust automation frameworks and internal tooling to stream data workflows across cross-functional STARK programs.

• Architect cloud infrastructure and data storage solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP to ensure high availability and low latency.

• Collaborate with hardware, embedded, and software engineering teams to define data models, interface specs, and telemetry schemas.

• Optimize data processing pipelines for high throughput, memory efficiency, and sub-second execution in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 + years of experience in similar relevant roles

• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Rust, or Go.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines and data processing systems.

• Knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems, as well as object storage.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-native architectures.

• Proven track record of working with high-volume telemetry, sensor data streams, or video data processing.

• Experience creating developer tooling, CLI utilities, and automated CI/CD workflows.

• Strong problem-solving mindset and solid foundation in software engineering and distributed systems.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of machine learning and data science related concepts and applications.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with defense, aerospace, or robotics domain applications.
