Responsibilities

• Work in multi-disciplinary environments harnessing data to provide real-world impact for organizations globally, influencing recommendations to improve business performance.


• Handle complex and varied data sets from large organizations; develop high-quality data science products and client-facing solutions; contribute to internal data assets and work alongside Data Engineering teams.


• Present findings and provide consultation to stakeholders, both internal and client teams.


• Learn to work across industries, build large-scale data and analytics solutions, and adopt best practices in data and analytics development, including framework, responsibility model, high-quality code, data security, sustainability, and scalability.


• Collaborate with data scientists, data/ML engineers, designers, project managers, and business subject matter experts on interdisciplinary projects across industries.


• Develop strong client-facing skills, including effective communication, problem-solving, and presentation abilities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in (business) maths, statistics, machine learning, data science, physics, computer science or engineering required


• Up to 2 years of professional hands-on experience applying advanced data science methods and implementing technical data solutions to solve business problems


• Strong grasp of analytics landscape including business intelligence, machine learning, AI, and generative AI, and how to apply them in different scenarios


• Proficiency in Python, SQL (focus on data & analytics applications)


• Professional experience with cloud-based analytical tools from providers such as AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud


• Effective communication and presentation skills, especially ability to explain complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences


• Master's degree in data science, computer science, business informatics or equivalent is a plus


• Practical experience in Generative AI application development


• Proven track record of advisory work


• Proven leadership experience in work settings or extracurricular activities
