Zusammenfassung

Allianz seeks a Data Privacy Specialist to design and implement global privacy frameworks, lead PIAs/DPIAs, and promote privacy-by-design across the organization. The role requires 5 years of experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and collaboration across functions to safeguard data.

The candidate will manage DSARs, vendor risk, and privacy training while keeping policies and notifications up to date within a proactive privacy program.

Data Privacy Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Privacy Specialist with 5 years of experience in ensuring compliance with global data protection regulations, implementing robust privacy frameworks, and mitigating data risks. The ideal candidate will possess proven expertise in GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws, along with a strong background in information security standards and risk management. This role requires a proactive professional with excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to safeguard sensitive information and foster a culture of data protection within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement comprehensive data privacy frameworks aligned with GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy regulations.
  • Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new projects and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed privacy-by-design principles into organizational processes.
  • Monitor and manage data breaches, including investigation, reporting, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Deliver privacy training and awareness programs to employees and stakeholders to enhance compliance.
  • Conduct vendor risk assessments to ensure third-party compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Draft and maintain privacy policies, procedures, and notices for internal and external use.
  • Support data mapping, classification, and regular audits to identify and address data privacy risks.
  • Respond to data subject access requests (DSARs) and other privacy-related inquiries.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on emerging privacy trends and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and Indian data protection laws.
  • Proficiency in Privacy Management Tools (e.g., OneTrust, TrustArc) and Data Mapping Tools (e.g., BigID, Varonis).
  • Experience with Information Security Standards (ISO 27001, NIST) and tools like SIEM, DLP, and IAM.
  • Programming skills in Python and SQL.
  • Certifications such as CIPP/E, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, and DPO Certification.
  • Fluent in English, German, and French.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven track record of leading GDPR compliance programs and achieving full compliance within strict timelines.
  • Experience in reducing data breach incidents through proactive risk management and training programs.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
Education

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Information Technology or a related field.
