Qualifikationen

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join one of our clients – a global E-learning company.

Responsibilities:

• Consult stakeholders in a wide range of data-related questions, supporting them on all stages from identifying which problems can be solved with data to training them how to make the best use of the self-service platform for their business goals
• Work with fellow Data Scientists to ensure quality through code reviews and share knowledge
• Build machine learning models to help our various teams drive growth in the business
• Develop data-oriented solutions to solve complex business problems leading to data-driven decision making
• Create reporting and visualizations and educate the company on your findings

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
• Master’s degree in an equivalent area (Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.)
• Ability to write clean code, preferably in Python
• Data scientist with knowledge in Power BI, SQL, and R
• Build data model in SQL
• Build reports in Power BI
• Fluent in statistical programming with R (e.g. shiny, Rmarkdown)
• Map analysis with Arcgis or R
• Turn business requirements into smart visualizations
• Information modeling
• Capability to review the literature to identify state-of-the-art algorithms in project-specific areas
• Experience with Linux & the command line
• Experience with version control and reviews

Nice to have, but not required:

• Experience with GBQ, DataStudio, and related Google Cloud Platform services
• Experience working in a diverse environment
• Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.) and unstructured data
• Experience developing C++ or Java applications
• Knowledge of AdTech industry
• Experience with cloud technologies like GCP or Azure
