Zusammenfassung

YER Germany is seeking a technically skilled professional to monitor, operate, and maintain critical data center infrastructure in Frankfurt, including electrical and mechanical systems, power distribution, and safety procedures.

The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance on UPS, generators, CRAC/CRAH, BMS, and related equipment, plus participation in shift work, on-call rotations, and coordination with external vendors to ensure maximum uptime.

Qualifikationen

• Technical qualification in electrical or mechanical fields.
• Experience in critical infrastructure environments.
• Practical experience with power distribution and cooling systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical or mechanical systems.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance and operational procedures.
• Experience with CMMS or ticketing systems is an advantage.
• Fluent German (minimum B2).

Aufgaben

• Monitor, operate, and maintain critical data center infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on UPS, generators, transformers, switchboards, PDUs, and other power equipment.
• Monitor and support cooling infrastructure (CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, pumps).
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose faults on critical facility equipment.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and respond to alarms.
• Coordinate maintenance with external vendors and service providers.
• Maintain operational documentation, maintenance records, and compliance reports.
• Participate in shift operations, on-call rotations, and emergency response to maximize uptime.

For our client we are currently filling the following position:

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and maintain critical data center infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on UPS systems, generators, transformers, switchboards, PDUs, and other power distribution equipment
• Monitor and support cooling infrastructure, including CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, pumps, and associated systems
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and first-level fault diagnosis on critical facility equipment
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and respond to alarms and incidents
• Coordinate maintenance activities with external vendors and service providers
• Maintain operational documentation, maintenance records, and compliance reports
• Participate in shift operations, on-call rotations, and emergency response procedures while ensuring maximum uptime of critical infrastructure
  
  

Your Profile

• Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, HVAC, or a related technical field
• Experience working in critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, industrial facilities, power plants, manufacturing plants, hospitals, airports, or similar
• Practical experience with one or more of the following:
• Power distribution (Transformers, Switchboards, Breakers, UPS, Generators, PDUs)
• Cooling systems (CRAC, CRAH, Chillers, Pumps)
• Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical or mechanical systems
• Understanding of preventive maintenance and operational procedures
• Experience working with CMMS or ticketing systems is an advantage
• Strong safety awareness and willingness to work in shifts
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Fluent German (minimum B2)
