About this Position

What you’ll do

• Unlock Henkel’s data by architecting a global data mesh with hundreds of data products across multiple platforms that enable people to derive insights, take better decisions and innovate.
• Define architecture principles, standards, and processes to ensure consistency, interoperability, and quality across our entire data ecosystem.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and platform teams to align our architecture with business goals and identify strategic data opportunities that create measurable business impact.
• Design the data architecture for strategic programs and manage the implementation roadmap.
• Lead with technical expertise, enabling teams to build high‑quality, reusable, and secure data products.

What makes you a good fit

• Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience designing and implementing analytical solutions; with 3+ years in an architect role.
• Hands‑on experience with modern data platforms (Azure Databricks, Power BI, MS Fabric, SAP BW / Datasphere / BDC is a plus) and strong in data modeling, data governance, and domain‑driven design.
• Proven ability in data strategy, decentralized data architectures (e.g., Data Mesh), and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English; German language skill is a plus.
• This position can be filled in Düsseldorf or Berlin.
