Zusammenfassung

Octopus Energy Group is seeking a data analytics professional to help manage customers facing payment challenges and surface insights through deep data investigations. You’ll develop and enhance reporting using BI tools and contribute to fraud prevention and machine learning initiatives.

You will work closely with Collections, Ops, Technology, and Finance to translate complex data into clear actions, supporting a fast-growing, customer-focused energy tech platform.

Qualifikationen

• 2-5 years experience in data analytics in a consumer-facing business
• Excellent SQL skills and data-driven decision making
• Experience with Python data science stack (pandas, NumPy, Jupyter notebooks, Plotly/matplotlib)
• Familiarity with Git and data visualization tools such as Tableau/Looker/Power BI
• Knowledge of DBT is a plus

• Data analytics is our core skillset. Everyone in the team is very strong in this area
• We have a firm understanding of the needs of our customers and the business
• We work closely with the tech team, because we’re a tech company, so this how we solve customer problems efficiently at scale
• We work closely with our operations teams who are the people that speak directly to customers

What You’ll Have

• Excellent SQL skills
• A drive to solve problems using data
• 2-5 years experience in data analytics in a consumer-facing business
• Python data science stack (pandas, NumPy, Jupyter notebooks, Plotly/matplotlib, etc.)
• Familiarity with Git
• Data visualization tool (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI or equivalent)
• DBT
