Zusammenfassung

TechYard is a specialist data, AI and transformation consultancy with offices in Zurich and Munich. We are looking for a data engineer who can analyse requirements, design tailored data solutions and contribute across cloud engineering, infrastructure, data engineering, data science and generative AI.

You will present results and insights to stakeholders and management in a bilingual German/English environment.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least 2 years' experience in a comparable role.
• Hands-on experience with modern data engineering tools (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, dbt, Palantir Foundry) and strong SQL, Python and Spark.
• Experience designing and delivering generative AI solutions (RAG systems, copilots, intelligent search, workflow automation).
• Solid grounding in data modelling and data warehousing.
• Pragmatic, results-oriented approach and excellent communication in both German and English.

What you bring

• Degree in computer science or a related field
• Atleast 2 years' experience in a comparable role
• Hands-on experience with modern data engineering tools (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, dbt, Palantir Foundry) and strong SQL, Python and Spark
• Experience designing and delivering generative AI solutions (RAG systems, copilots, intelligent search, workflow automation)
• Solid grounding in data modelling and data warehousing
• Pragmatic, results-oriented approach and excellent communication in both German and English
