Job summary

PROGNOST Systems, part of the Burckhardt Compression Group, is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to strengthen secure product development for industrial digitalization. You will drive cybersecurity across the entire lifecycle of our digital products, lead certification activities, and collaborate with engineering, product management, and customers.

Fluent English is required, German is a plus; a degree in cybersecurity or related field and at least two years of cybersecurity experience are

Qualifications

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least two years of professional experience in cybersecurity. Knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443, NIS2, CRA, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with secure software development practices, vulnerability management, SAST, SCA, penetration testing, or related security tools.
• Fluent English skills; German is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive cybersecurity activities across the entire lifecycle of our digital products.
• Maintain and continuously improve our Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and cybersecurity processes.
• Lead certification and compliance activities related to IEC 62443, IACS UR E27, CRA, and customer-specific requirements.
• Define and enhance product security architectures, defense-in-depth concepts, and security capabilities.
• Manage software security tools, vulnerability management processes, and software security assessments.
• Support development teams with secure coding practices, risk mitigation, and remediation activities.
• Act as a trusted cybersecurity expert for engineering, product management, sales, customers, and project teams.
• Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats, regulations, and industry standards to keep our products secure and compliant.

Your profile

• Experience with secure software development practices, vulnerability management, SAST, SCA, penetration testing, or related security tools.
• Fluent English skills; German is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
