Job summary

RemoteLeads is seeking a seasoned voice actor for remote, contract-based work. You will record high-quality samples for conversational, instructional, and other scripted content, delivering natural, expressive performances with strong control of tone and pacing.

The role requires experience in voice performance, access to a professional recording setup, and the ability to follow scripts with engaging delivery. This is a fully remote, contractor engagement with flexible hours and weekly payments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional voice performance work.

• Access to a professional recording setup with quality microphone and quiet environment.
• Excellent pronunciation, diction, vocal clarity, and emotional range.

Description

• Record high-quality voice samples for conversational, narrative, instructional, and other scripted content.
• Deliver natural, expressive performances with strong control of tone, pacing, pronunciation, and emotion.
• Maintain consistent vocal quality, accent, and delivery across multiple recording sessions.
• Follow detailed recording specifications for microphone setup, recording environment, and file formatting.
• Produce multiple takes with different emotion, emphasis, and speaking styles when requested.
• Ensure recordings meet quality standards for AI training and evaluation.

Requirements

• Native American English speaker currently residing in the United States.
• Professional experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, broadcasting, or related voice performance work.
• Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup, including a quality microphone, quiet recording environment, and appropriate audio equipment.
• Excellent pronunciation, diction, vocal clarity, and emotional range.
• Ability to accurately follow scripts while maintaining a natural and engaging delivery.
• Availability to contribute approximately 5–10 hours per week throughout the project.
• Experience recording audio for text-to-speech systems, audiobooks, IVR platforms, or AI speech datasets is preferred.
• Familiarity with audio editing software such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper is preferred.
• Ability to perform multiple vocal styles, including conversational, professional, energetic, instructional, and calm delivery is preferred.
• The role does not require access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Candidates requiring H-1B or STEM OPT sponsorship are not supported.
