At Data4Life, we empower researchers and public-health partners by building secure, compliant, and high-impact digital solutions. As we expand our AI-enabled offerings—including our AIR·MS Chatbot, our integrated LLM solutions, and researcher-focused developer tooling—we seek a Customer Success Engineer with strong full-stack development skills and deep customer orientation.

You will work closely with researchers, engineering, project, and product teams to build, integrate, and evolve AI-powered applications that advance medical and public-health research.

We are looking for a Customer Success Engineer to join our Research Enablement team. This is a full time position located in Berlin/Potsdam.

Your future role

Build further features around LLM infrastructure in the AIR·MS platform, including our Open WebUI-based chatbot

Align closely with the cross-partner program leadership team, and focus on enabling researchers and clinicians to effectively use open-source LLMs

Help integrate in-house fine-tuned, medical-data-aware LLMs, and help integrate agentic APIs for streamlining research and translation

Maintain our software stack up-to-date and ensure extensions for regulatory compliance are delivered timely

What you need to succeed

At least 2 years of experience working closely with researchers (or having worked as researcher yourself), translating researcher needs into technical solutions

Ability to work across engineering, product, and research teams in a collaborative and comfortable manner

Demonstrate high ownership, curiosity, and readiness to experiment with evolving AI technologies

Maintain a high degree of accuracy and reliability when operating within the regulated health tech environment.
