Why This Position is for You

AeroCore is seeking a dynamic and detail‑oriented Customer Development & Programs Lead to manage and grow our engine wash service programs. This role serves as the single point of contact for customers, ensuring seamless coordination across field services, customer reporting, contracts, and capture activities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator and strategic thinker who can balance customer satisfaction with internal priorities, program execution and is experienced in military and commercial aviation customer relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary liaison for military and commercial customers, maintaining strong relationships through ongoing communication and program updates.
  • Own strategic customer program design and execution, ensuring alignment with AeroCore’s operational and business objectives.
  • Facilitate large‑scale aviation contract implementation and coordinate timely fulfillment of contract and SOW requirements.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Business Development, Finance, Operations, Field Services, Engineering, Supply Chain and Product teams to support proposals, resource planning, and contract execution.
  • Represent our customers in internal communication and prioritization to balance customer needs harmonized with company priorities.
  • Develop and deliver customer reports on contract performance and other customer requested performance metrics.
  • Manage and coordinate customer escalations by facilitating answers, driving improvements, or collaboration for continuous improvements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to program support staff such as analysts, coordinators, or specialists.
  • Own customer experience to sustain contracts sold and drive growth opportunities through customer satisfaction.
  • Represent AeroCore at trade shows and industry events, acting as a brand ambassador and supporting growth and customer engagement efforts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent military or industry experience will be considered.
  • 15 years of experience in direct services sales and/or program management roles within defense, aerospace, aviation services, or contracting with accounts over $4 million annually.
  • Strong understanding of military service operations, budgeting, appropriations, and contracting processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating effectively across cross‑functional teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, reporting tools, and project management software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Monday.com, Smartsheet).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear reports, presentations, and customer‑facing documentation.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as required for customer meetings, site visits, or trade shows.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting both military and commercial aviation customers in a customer‑facing or program management capacity.
  • Strong understanding of aviation maintenance operations, standards, and regulatory requirements in US, military and International.
  • Demonstrated experience with entire life‑cycle capture of customers from contact to contract award.
  • Working knowledge of CMMC compliance requirements and associated cybersecurity practices.
  • Resides near a commercial airport or military installation we currently service, or has the ability and willingness to relocate to a location supporting significant military customer operations.
