Zusammenfassung

RemoteLeads is seeking a senior Cost Estimator to support AFCAA, Center Cost Staffs, and PMOs in developing and tailoring CSDR plans for ACAT I and other delegated DoD programs. You will lead the Cost Working-Group IPT through the CSDR planning process and coordinate kickoff activities.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years in weapon systems acquisition and cost estimating on DoD programs, with mandatory CSDR experience and active Secret clearance.

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least 10 years of weapon systems acquisition and cost estimating on DoD ACAT I/II/III programs.
  • CSDR experience is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of CSDR policy, planning, validation, compliance, and the CADE application.
  • Expert knowledge of DoDI 5000.73, DoD 5000.04-M-1, and MIL-STD-881 work breakdown structures and mapping.
  • Experience mapping 1921-series and FlexFile cost data to CADE Standard WBS templates.
  • Experience reviewing and validating Quantity Data Reports, including quantity-time phasing and reconciliation to contract and program quantities.
  • Experience with Technical Data Reports, including form, fit, and function parameters.
  • Experience with SRDR, M&R, and CBDR submissions.
  • Working knowledge of CADE, DACIMS, cPet, PPM, and CSDR-SR systems, or other government-identified tools.
  • Ability to present complex information clearly to senior leaders.
  • Active Secret Clearance required.

Aufgaben

  • Review contractor-submitted CSDR Plans for alignment with the approved WBS, CADE templates, MIL-STD-881 mapping, and cost community needs.
  • Track solicitations, RFP releases, and contract award timelines to keep CSDR planning on schedule.
  • Provide SME guidance on FlexFile, QDR, TDR, SRDR, M&R, CBDR, and organic data collection, and document lessons learned/best practices.
  • Lead and facilitate the CSDR Readiness Review within 60 days of contract award.
  • Validate submission completeness, consistency, and reasonableness across cost, quantity, technical, software, maintenance, and business data reports.
  • Document discrepancies during validation and coordinate resolution and disposition through government channels.
  • Support the AFCAA CSDR Process Manager in end-to-end planning, validation, compliance, escalation, and coordination with DCARC/DAFCARC and related teams.
