Qualifikationen

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship, degree, or equivalent qualification.
  • Ideally, initial experience in the maritime industry, crew management, crew administration, or a comparable coordination role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Independent, well-structured, and responsible way of working.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Aufgaben

  • Monitor compliance with crewing-related requirements, policies, and standards across the assigned fleet.
  • Track defined KPIs and ensure adherence to internal, regulatory, client-specific, and classification society requirements.
  • Oversee and maintain crew-related documentation and relevant crewing systems.
  • Support a people-oriented environment and strong relationships with the crew, vessel management, crewing agencies as well as internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and coordinate training and development needs for seafarers to support consistent fleet-wide standards.
  • Support audits, inspections, and quality assurance initiatives within Crew Management.
  • Promote the standardized and compliant implementation of crewing processes across the fleet.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of crewing processes, standards, and compliance practices.

For our Crewing Supervision team in Hamburg, we are looking for a Crew Coordinator (m/f/d). As a Crew Coordinator, you play a key role in monitoring and ensuring professional crewing standards across the assigned fleet. You work closely with vessel management, crewing agencies, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure that crewing-related requirements, processes, and quality standards are consistently met. Your Responsibilities

Your Profile
  • Completed commercial apprenticeship, degree, or equivalent qualification
  • Ideally, initial experience in the maritime industry, crew management, crew administration, or a comparable coordination role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities effectively

  • Experience with budget planning, invoice verification & financial reporting within crew management would be considered an advantage
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trust across multicultural teams
