A leading international renewable energy company seeks a Country Manager for Solar and Storage to lead its operations in Germany. This strategic role will be responsible for spearheading commercial initiatives, identifying new business opportunities, and overseeing the execution of key projects in the solar and storage sectors across Germany and Europe.

We are looking for a leader with proven experience in the energy sector, strategic vision, and a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Responsibilities

Business Development

• Design and implement commercial strategies to expand the company's presence in key markets
• Identify and develop new opportunities in solar energy, storage, and hybrid solutions
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for competitive positioning

Project Management

• Oversee all project stages from planning through implementation and delivery
• Ensure compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards for projects
• Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and financial risks

Strategic Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with developers, EPCs, utilities, and other key sector stakeholders
• Negotiate agreements and contracts to ensure successful long-term business partnerships
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients in strategic projects

Company Representation

• Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences, and energy sector events
• Participate in networking activities to strengthen the company's visibility and create new opportunities

Performance Management and International Coordination

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of business initiatives and ongoing projects, implementing strategic adjustments when necessary
• Collaborate with international teams to share best practices and ensure alignment with global objectives

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy, or related fields (MBA preferred)
• Rich experience in business development and project management in the solar and/or storage sector

Technical Knowledge

• In-depth understanding of photovoltaic systems, energy storage solutions (ESS), and European sector regulations

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and effectively manage multiple priorities
• Exceptional negotiation skills and strategic relationship-building capabilities
• Strategic vision and results‑oriented approach

Languages and Availability

• Fluency in German and English (additional European languages are a plus)
• Willingness to travel frequently within Germany and Europe
