Zusammenfassung

A leading recruitment consultancy in Frankfurt seeks a Corporate Action Analyst to oversee corporate action activities and manage operational relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate actions and reconciliations, be client-focused, and possess strong analytical and communication skills. The role is a contract position with high potential for extension. Candidates must be fluent in English, and knowledge of French or German is advantageous.

Qualifikationen

For our client in the insurance sector, we are looking for a Corporate Action Analyst (m/f/d) in Frankfurt. The role is initially limited to a one-year contract with the option for an extension.

Your Tasks
  • Act as an expert Corporate Actions analyst – oversight of the whole value chain of the Corporate Actions activity from our external Middle Office provider
  • Act as a key contact person for Investment Professionals, External Providers & Internal Operations stakeholders to coordinate and perform operational activities
  • Lead/participate in various major operational projects related to internal workflows enhancements, improvements of existing processes with our external Middle Office provider
  • Manage the relationship with our external Middle Office and provide top‑notch oversight of their activity to ensure a sustainable and stable quality of service
  • Gate keeper for all requests coming from Client Account Managers and Portfolio Managers including coordination/execution of related actions
  • Guarantee the blocking of positions pertaining to the Corporate Actions activity
  • Guarantee on a daily basis the accuracy of stock positions. Daily oversight of stock reconciliations positions in Front Office systems and coordinate the investigations with our outsourced Middle Office provider
  • Identify and escalated incidents caused by third parties, follow‑up remedial actions, and coordinate the loss event/claims process
  • Participate in enhancing new target models, continuously improving the processes and proactively suggesting new initiatives
  • Manage and/or escalated conflicts, issues with respective stakeholders, being proactive
  • Build a collaborative working relationship with internal and external clients
  • Cross training with other team members across locations
  • Participate in various projects related to Operations Department
  • Review, maintain and enhance processes and procedures (this includes documentation and promotion)
Your Skills
  • Experience in Corporate Action
  • Experience in Reconciliations (cash and securities)
  • Experience in Proxy Voting would be a plus
  • Investment Accounting experience/knowledge would be a plus
  • Work experience in an operational position in the financial industry, preferably in an investment‑related area
  • Ability to resolve complex problems, delivery focused and well organized.
  • Client focused and rigorous while performing tasks
  • Excellent analytical, communicational and interpersonal skills
  • Self‑motivated team player willing to work in a diverse and challenging environment
  • Professional in Microsoft Office (in particular Excel); Bloomberg AIM. VBA knowledge is a plus
  • Fluent English – mandatory
  • Fluent French or German – would be a plus
