The CORE (Customer Oriented Resilient Enterprise) program is a game changer for Bayer as we strive to become the best in class in the industry. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and drive the design, review, and governance of end‑to‑end technical solutions that integrate SAP S/4 and BTP, ensuring scalability, performance, and security while considering multi‑dimensional system landscape design
- Lead a community of practice and provide guidance and best practices for leveraging SAP S/4 and BTP capabilities to address business challenges and opportunities, considering systems architecture
- Manage development teams to ensure the successful implementation of designed solutions, providing technical oversight and support as needed
- Stay up to date and drive education and training on SAP S/4 and BTP features, enhancements, and best practices to inform solution design and architecture decisions, particularly in the context of systems architecture and multi‑dimensional system landscape design
- Assess new technologies and tools that align with SAP S/4 and BTP capabilities, considering their effects on systems architecture and multi‑dimensional system landscape design, with particular attention to AI, automation, and integration technologies
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions using SAP S/4 and BTP
WHO YOU ARE
- You hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or have equivalent work experience
- You have extensive experience as Solution Architect in the context of SAP BTP, SAP S/4, and large‑scale transformation programs
- You bring strong technical skills in SAP S/4 and BTP, with the ability to develop and communicate technical solutions to diverse stakeholders
- You have proven experience with integration methodologies and cloud architecture for enterprise solutions
- You demonstrate excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions
- You collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders, supported by strong communication and interpersonal skills
- SAP certification in S/4 HANA or BTP is preferred
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional language skills are a plus
