Responsibilities

• Provide on-demand ("on-call") therapeutic support for patients attending MAT appointments.
• Review and interpret standardized assessment tools, including BAM‑R, PHQ‑9, Social Determinants of Health, and Patient Satisfaction Surveys.
• Compare current assessment results to baseline and prior scores to identify trends and clinical needs.
• Deliver brief, targeted therapeutic interventions such as supportive counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Address ambivalence, reinforce recovery goals, and support behavioral change.
• Collaborate with patients to identify barriers to recovery and connect them with appropriate internal or external services.
• Document clinical interactions and relevant findings in accordance with organizational standards.
• Communicate clinically relevant insights to the care team as appropriate.
• Participate in feedback loops to refine and improve the MBC pilot model.

Requirements

• Masters level behavioral health clinician—preferred to be fully licensed but not required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Experience working with substance use disorders and/or MAT populations.
• Proficiency in Motivational Interviewing and brief therapy models.
• Experience with measurement‑based care or outcomes‑informed treatment preferred.
