Role Overview

As a Contracts Manager at WebBeds you will play a critical role in securing competitive hotel contracts for the regions under your remit. Your efforts contribute to achieving the company’s KPIs by ensuring an ideal mix of hotels, competitive pricing, availability, and margins. You will have full ownership of all revenue streams coming into the destinations you manage. This role is available in Germany (Palma) or London offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and secure contracts with hotels in your allocated regions to meet the company’s KPIs.
  • Ensure the right number and mix of hotels, competitive pricing, and availability.
  • Maintain and enhance revenue performance of hotels in your portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with hotel partners to align with WebBeds strategic goals.
  • Regularly review contracted hotel performance and address pricing, availability, or quality issues.
  • Conduct market research to identify expansion opportunities and ensure competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to develop and implement effective contracting strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze destination performance metrics for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience in hotel account management or a similar role in the travel industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the assigned region(s) and hospitality market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet revenue targets in a competitive environment.
  • Experience building and managing relationships with hotel partners.
  • Familiarity with online distribution platforms, APIs, or cloud‑based systems is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the region highly desirable.
  • Negotiation skills: ability to secure favourable terms while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Market knowledge: deep understanding of the travel and accommodation market in assigned regions.
  • Analytical thinking: evaluate market trends and performance data to make informed decisions.
  • Communication: strong interpersonal and written skills for liaising internally and externally.
  • Results orientation: ability to meet or exceed performance targets in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Problem‑solving: proactive and resourceful in overcoming challenges and identifying innovative solutions.
  • Contracting experience gained with the hotel industry.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with hoteliers.
  • Degree level education or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of contracting experience in the hotel industry (OTAs, bedbanks, tour operators).
  • Understanding of current contracting landscape (dynamic and static models).
  • Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail.
  • Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional fluency in English; additional European language is a plus.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
