Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled QA tester to plan, model, and execute functional and integration tests across Web, Mobile, API and batch systems in a banking automation context. You will apply agile QA practices such as Scrum/Kanban, define test strategies, and support UAT with users and business areas.

You will work with COBOL and mainframe environments, create and maintain test data, document complex flows, and report on test execution and defects. This role supports remote work within Germany.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field is required.
• Proven experience in functional and integration testing.
• Knowledge of COBOL and banking automation environments.
• Experience with Web, API, Mobile and Batch testing.
• Familiarity with Scrum/Kanban and agile QA.
• Experience creating and maintaining test environments and data.
• Knowledge of test types and levels (unit, integration, system, regression and acceptance).
• CTFL/CTFL-AT certificates are preferred.

• Document and map service transactions, application flows and critical routines.
• Create and manage test data sets for functional testing.
• Support user acceptance testing activities with users and business areas.
• Analyze and log defects, creating a known-error repository.
• Produce specialized reports for test execution and monitoring.
• Work in banking automation labs, validating interfaces, self-service channels and critical applications.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the field is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related higher education is required.
• Must reside in: São Paulo (SP) or Brasília (DF) - Remote work model.
• Experience with COBOL.
• Planning and structuring test maturity for both high- and low-level platforms.
• Knowledge of functional testing for Web, APIs, Mobile and Batch.
• Agile methodologies applied to QA (Scrum/Kanban).
• Creation and maintenance of non-production test environments.
• Knowledge of test types and levels (unit, integration, system, regression and acceptance).
• Banking automation platforms in Linux and Windows environments.
• BDD and TDD methodologies.
• Test execution reporting and monitoring.
• Virtualization of services/interfaces to simulate integrations.
• Execution of Batch processing and Mainframe routines.
• Desired:
• Test certifications such as CTFL, CTFL-AT (preferred).
• Experience with banking automation.
