Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Consultant (f/m/d) in AI & New Technologies to deliver end-to-end value—from concepts to code, proofs of concept, and scalable solutions built on GenAI and agentic systems. You will work across cross-functional teams and clients to translate complex requirements into practical AI architectures.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, production-grade software, and shaping Siemens’ AI strategy with state-of-the-art tech, including agentic frameworks and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Academic excellence with Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related fields; strong Data Science/Data Engineering specialization.
• 2 internships in consultancy or tech/industrial firms; track record in data & AI consulting a plus.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying GenAI applications and familiarity with agentic AI frameworks; proficiency in Python and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on cross-functional & client projects translating complex requirements into project approaches and technical solutions.
• Design and implement agentic systems and AI solutions to advance client strategies and processes.
• Bridge technology and business by developing production-grade code for scalable features across OT & IT environments.

• Collaborate on cross-functional & client projects: Work hand-in-hand with consultants, domain experts, and clients to translating complex operational requirements into tangible project approaches and technical solutions.
• Solve business problems with state of the art technology: Design and implement agentic systems, architect complex technical solutions, leverage AI and foundational models & multi-agent frameworks to directly advance our customers’ AI strategy and processes.
• Bridge Technology and Business: Develop production-grade code and implement AI solutions, collaborating with developers to program reliable, scalable features across integrated OT & IT environments and enterprise architectures in the context of business process, system, stakeholder and organizational constraints.
• Communicate across all seniority levels: Present and communicate technical results and strategic impacts to stakeholders of all levels, from top management to plant operators and end users.
• Drive innovation & thought leadership: Act as a key innovator in our practice by prototyping novel solutions that demonstrate the transformative power of agentic and AI technologies.

This Is How You'll Win Us Over

• Academic Excellence: Outstanding academic degree (Master’s/Diploma/PhD) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields, complemented by a strong specialization in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Data Engineering.
• Consulting & Practical Experience: Minimum 2 internships in a consultancy (tech/strategy), renowned tech or industrial companies, or start-ups and a proven track record of excellence in consulting with data and AI in relevant domains. Experience at the intersection of technology and client advisory is a big plus.
• Technical Hard-Skills: Strong experience in building and deploying GenAI applications and hands‑on familiarity with one or more agentic AI frameworks (e.g., Google ADK, OpenAI Agents SDK, Claude Agents SDK). Proficiency in Python for AI development, Cloud Platform expertise (Azure, incl. Microsoft Foundry), and knowledge of Data Warehousing & Engineering (Snowflake & dbt).
• Domain & Architecture: Initial hands‑on experience with AI applied to business or industrial data (e.g., time series, process optimization, document intelligence) and exposure at IT/Ota architecture or industrial standards.
• Global Entrepreneurial Mindset: International exposure gained through studies, internships, orwork experienceabroad and a strong willingness to contribute in shaping and growing a team and business.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (min. C1).
