Arineo Group seeks a Data & Analytics Consultant to translate business needs into technical solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, shaping data strategies, governance, and BI delivery.

You will design Power BI reports, work with Dynamics 365 data, run workshops, and help clients leverage AI and modern analytics, while traveling to client sites across Germany.

Your Mission

Data only realizes its full value when it is understood, used reliably, and translated into sound decisions. At Arineo, you’ll advise our clients on all aspects of data and analytics in the Microsoft environment, develop viable concepts, and bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Consulting and Data Strategy: Working closely with our clients, you’ll develop a data strategy based on their business strategy and manage data governance issues. To do this, you’ll analyze their business processes, identify relevant data opportunities, and work with them to develop goals, ideas, and concepts for better use of their data.
• Translating into Technical Solutions: You’ll gather requirements, evaluate them from a business perspective, and translate them into actionable concepts for our internal development teams.
• BI Solutions with Microsoft Technologies: You design and develop reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and DAX. In doing so, you take a cross-platform approach that effectively addresses the requirements of various stakeholders and creates a reliable, scalable data foundation—including for the use of AI-based applications.
• Making Dynamics 365 Data Actionable: You work with data from Microsoft Dynamics 365—for example, from Finance & Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Customer Engagement & Sales.
• Workshops and Client Empowerment: You’ll design and facilitate workshops, coordination sessions, and training sessions; explain concepts in an easy-to-understand way; and help clients use data more confidently and effectively.
• Responsibility and Collaboration: You work independently, organize your tasks, contribute your own ideas, and work with colleagues to further develop our initiatives in the areas of data intelligence, BI, analytics, and data governance.

Profile

• Consulting experience and understanding of business processes: You have experience working with clients, understand business processes, and can gather and structure technical requirements and translate them into viable solutions.
• Expertise in the Microsoft Data & Analytics ecosystem: You have experience with Power BI, DAX, and Microsoft Fabric. Ideally, you’re also familiar with data from Microsoft Dynamics 365, such as from Finance & Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Customer Engagement & Sales.
• Understanding of data strategy and data governance: You know how reliable data, clear structures, and transparent responsibilities contribute to better decisions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills: You navigate confidently between business units, customers, and the development team, and can clearly convey both business and technical concepts—in workshops, coordination meetings, and day-to-day project work.
• Self‑motivation and organizational skills: You work independently, actively drive projects forward, and maintain a clear overview even when dealing with complex requirements.
• Use of AI and New Technologies: You already actively use AI solutions and new tools in your day-to-day work. You closely follow developments related to Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, analytics, data intelligence, and AI, and contribute relevant insights to the team.
• Language Skills and Willingness to Travel: You have very good German and good English skills and are willing to travel for client projects (20 percent).

Desirable

• Understanding of data engineering: You can assess how data movement processes work, why they can be complex, and what they mean for customers—for example, in ETL processes, data preparation, transformations, or pipelines.
