SailPoint is seeking a Consultant to join our team on-site or remotely. You will begin with product training and progressively handle projects with increasing complexity, delivering solutions to customers worldwide.

What You’ll Do

Consultants at SailPoint begin with product training, leveraging their education and experience to gain a deep understanding of our SaaS and/or software solutions.

• Within a month or two, begin working on projects to establish connectivity to customer environments, continuing to learn about SailPoint project delivery.
• After about six months, implement solutions on small to medium‑sized projects with the guidance of a Solution Architect.
• At the end of the first year, work on projects ranging from small to large with varying complexity. Operate largely independently, providing best practices to customers through working sessions and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers on the installation, integration, and deployment of SailPoint software and/or SaaS solutions.
• Communicate solution and implementation aspects at the technical and functional level to clients and partners.
• Configure SailPoint solutions as defined by a Solution Architect.
• Deliver technical training designed to enable and educate SailPoint customers and implementation partners.
• Build rules for customers and evaluate rules built by customers.

Requirements

• Portuguese business proficiency/native.
• 1‑3 years of professional work experience in a technology company with at least 1 year of customer‑facing experience.
• Experience with setting up and installing software on both Windows and Linux platforms.
• Database knowledge in one or more of the following: Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL.
• Experience with enterprise directories such as Microsoft Active Directory and LDAP.
• Familiarity with networking principles: SSL/TLS/HTTPS, certificate management, basic TCP/IP troubleshooting.
• Experience reading and writing any of the following programming languages: Java, BeanShell/JavaScript/TypeScript, JP
• Programming language list: JSP/Servlets, Linux/Unix, SQL, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, C#, C++.

Preferred

• Familiarity with cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Familiarity with web technologies: SPML/SOAP, web and application servers, RESTful APIs.
• Experience working with a project team that has deadlines and regular internal team and customer meetings.
• Experience with quality assurance duties (usability testing, performance testing, automated testing, test scripts, test cases and test plans).
• Security software or IT audit experience.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Computer Science or Engineering degree a plus).
• J2EE certification is a plus.
• SailPoint Certified Engineer is a plus and is expected within 12 months of hire.

Travel

This position requires up to 15% travel.
