Zusammenfassung

Advantest Europe GmbH in Böblingen is seeking a Configuration Management Engineer to record configuration item status, create baselines and enhance CM tooling. You will roll out CM practices across software projects and contribute to SBOM creation and security/licensing activities.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Development, Integration and Release Management, and requires scripting, Linux experience, and English language skills. German language is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in an IT‑related or technical field or a comparable qualification.
• Sound understanding of Configuration Management principles and tools.
• Experience with Linux systems (RHEL).
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g. Python, bash, REST‑APIs).
• Experience in Git, Jira.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, ideally also in PowerBI, MS Azure.
• Driver for change and enthusiastic about people, tools and processes.
• Strong communication skills in English, preferably also in German, to work effectively with engineers of different backgrounds, cultures, and prior experience.
