At TUXEDO Computers GmbH, we develop Linux hardware and the associated software integration. For the coming semester, we are looking for a computer science student who would like to learn how to ensure software quality in Python in a measurable, reproducible, and automated way as part of a mandatory internship.

Goal of the internship

Your responsibilities will include developing and expanding test automation solutions in Python, independently implementing automated hardware and software tests, actively participating in setting up and maintaining test environments in a Linux environment, and analyzing, documenting and evaluating test results. You will be encouraged to bring your own ideas for continuous improvement of test processes.

Your focus areas

The focus is on the practical application of Python for test automation. You will write scripts to reliably test complex hardware and software functions, work closely with our developers on real projects, and use modern tools for version management and documentation in a pure Linux environment.

Who we are looking for

You are a registered student at the Technical University of Augsburg, studying computer science, technical computer science, or a comparable subject. In accordance with your study regulations you are completing a mandatory internship and have a good basic knowledge of Python. A strong interest in test automation, hardware and software testing and enthusiasm for Linux and open source technologies are crucial. A structured, independent way of working and ability to work in a team round off your profile.
