Job summary

Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH in Donauwörth seeks a Composites Process Technician to ensure precise finishing and outfitting of CFRP and sandwich components for helicopter production. You will perform manual finishing, bonding, and material management in a production environment.

The ideal candidate has vocational training in a skilled trade, several years in laminating or carpentry, fluent German (C1) and good English (B2), and is willing to work shifts.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in a trade (e.g., carpenter, coating technician, plastics and rubber).
• Several years of experience in production/manufacturing, ideally laminating or carpentry.
• Initial experience in manual processing of composites.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to document work sequences.

Responsibilities

• Manual finishing of composite and metal sheet sandwich components.
• Outfitting cured CFRP and GFRP components.
• Execution of bonding processes, both structural and non-structural.
• Documentation of work sequences in manufacturing orders.
• Material management and assignment to production orders.
• Independent, cost-conscious work with inspection tasks.
• Identify and realize cost-saving potentials.
• Teamwork in production.
