Then help us shape the future of compliance at Mazda Europe as Compliance Manager (m/f/d) reporting directly to the Chief Compliance Officer.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

In this strategic and hands-on role, you will take ownership of implementing regulatory requirements and managing compliance initiatives across Europe. You operate autonomously and solution-oriented within a dynamic international environment:

• Monitor and assess European regulatory developments and their legal and operational impact on Mazda.
• Develop and support implementation of mitigation measures.
• Lead and coordinate compliance projects in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Engage and align with departments across Europe on compliance-related matters.
• Provide legal advice on regulatory and compliance topics to the business.
• Evaluate regulatory risks and recommend appropriate responses.
• Represent the Compliance function in external committees and in interactions with regulatory authorities.
• Integrate compliance requirements into business planning and strategic decision-making.

YOUR PROFILE

• Fully qualified lawyer or equivalent legal qualification with a focus on compliance, business, or regulatory law (EU-qualified).
• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in compliance, regulatory management, or legal advisory, ideally in an international setting.
• Strong knowledge of European regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent command of English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Structured, self-driven working style and confident communication in international contexts.
• Ability to translate complex legal matters into actionable business guidance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence across multiple stakeholder levels.
