Spherical is seeking a graphic designer for a six-month remote contract in Germany. You will work 32–40 hours per week under the Design Director, focusing on Neighbors magazine and brand/marketing design.

You will collaborate with editors to create immersive digital storytelling experiences, update templates, and translate stories into social content while shaping brand identity across materials and newsletters.

Qualifikationen

• This is a six-month remote contract position reporting to the Design Director, working 32-40 hours per week.
• The designer will work on two primary tracks: ongoing design of Neighbors magazine and brand/marketing design.

Scope of Work:

• Collaborate with editors and producers to design immersive digital storytelling experiences for articles published every two weeks.
• Iterate existing templates and design new ones for different story formats, and translate stories into social media content.
• Contribute to brand identity, marketing materials, and social media design, including page layouts, presentation decks, and newsletters.

Requirements:

• Formal education in graphic design or equivalent professional experience with a strong portfolio.
• Strong foundation in typography, color, layout, composition, and brand identity design for print and digital.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with a healthy approach to AI-assisted tools.
• Duration: 6 months, hours: 32-40 per week, rate: $100/hr, remote.
• Start date: as soon as possible, reporting to Michael Yap, Design Director.
