Job Description

The Communication Campaign Manager plays a central role in planning, organizing, and delivering high-impact messaging campaigns that support the Area Functional Plan initiatives of the Europe Central Area. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, project management excellence, stakeholder collaboration, and a deep understanding of integrated marketing and communications.

Working under the direction of the Experience and Product Manager, the Communication Campaign Manager will ensure that campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with both internal client expectations and the Church’s communication objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive communication campaign plans aligned with Area Communication Plans.
    Lead strategic discussions to recommend best-practice marketing approaches, channel strategies, and messaging direction.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for assigned internal clients, providing consultative guidance and clear recommendations.
  • Participate actively in brainstorming sessions to generate strategic, creative, and innovative campaign ideas.

Project & Workflow Management

  • Create and manage project scopes, timelines, workflows, and budgets ensuring efficient coordination of all deliverables.
  • Maintain a "big picture" understanding of all campaign components and how they interrelate, ensuring cohesion and alignment.
  • Prepare detailed cost/time estimates and track all project phases, milestones, and actual expenditures against estimates.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at high quality.
  • Coordinate language localization and production workflows and ensure timely delivery of multilingual assets.

Oversee relationships with vendors, freelancers, media partners, and production teams.

Creative & Media Coordination

  • Develop and evaluate creative briefs to ensure clarity, completeness, and strategic alignment.
  • Collaborate with internal clients to refine briefs, identify key messages, and optimize inputs for creative teams.
  • Work closely with creative teams, media planners, PR specialists, and content creators to ensure aligned and actionable outputs.
  • Communicate feedback, approvals, and direction to creative and production teams in a structured and timely manner.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients and cross-functional partners.
    Provide ongoing strategic counsel, helping clients understand campaign options, capabilities, and performance expectations.
  • Facilitate regular status updates, alignment meetings, and issue resolution discussions.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks for each campaign.
  • Monitor campaign performance and analyze metrics to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Produce clear, actionable campaign reports and insights to guide future communication strategies.
Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in communication campaign management or marketing project management, preferably in an agency or large organization.
  • Experience coordinating multi-channel campaigns (digital, social, PR, media buying, events, print).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to write and evaluate creative briefs and guide creative development.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in campaign tracking, data interpretation, and reporting.
  • Resourceful and highly organized, with a commitment to time and cost efficiency.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Vendor and budget management experience required.
  • Ability to think strategically while managing tactical details.
