About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead the planning and execution of the commissioning strategy across our hyperscale data centre developments in Germany, predominantly located in Frankfurt and Berlin.

This is a key role within our delivery team, responsible for ensuring that all critical systems are commissioned to the highest standards of performance, compliance, and reliability.

Note that there will be requirement to be on our sites in Frankfurt regularly, and also less often in Berlin. It would therefore be advantageous for the person to be based in or close to Frankfurt.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the commissioning strategy for our Germany developments, ensuring alignment with programme milestones and operational objectives
• Oversee commissioning of critical mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, UPS, generators, switchgear, BMS, and fire suppression systems
• Manage and coordinate external commissioning specialists, ensuring timely execution and integration of all commissioning activities
• Maintain tight control over programme, cost, and compliance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
• Ensure all commissioning works meet regulatory requirements, internal standards, and client expectations
• Work closely with internal design, construction, and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from build to live environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the commissioning lifecycle

What We’re Looking For

• Strong track record in commissioning management within the data centre sector, ideally on large-scale or hyperscale projects
• Deep technical understanding of critical M&E systems and their role in high-availability environments
• Proven ability to manage external contractors and specialists, driving performance and accountability
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a sharp focus on delivery, cost control, and compliance
