Job summary

Core Metal is seeking a coating inspector to join our ongoing project in Northern Germany. You will inspect and test coatings applied to surfaces on construction sites to protect against corrosion, starting ASAP.

The contract runs for 12 months with potential extension, and travel to sites for assessment and reporting is required. Fluency in German and English and FROSIO/NACE Level II or III certification are expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Oil and Gas or pipeline projects.
• Experience with EPC projects.
• German and English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Inspect coatings applied to surfaces according to industry standards and client requirements.
• Ensure that coatings meet specifications and are applied correctly, identifying defects and recommending remedial actions.
• Record and report inspection results, including documenting non-conformance and preparing reports for clients and project managers.
• Travel to construction sites to assess coating conditions and recommend maintenance or repair work as needed.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports and interface with the project support team.
