Your responsibilities:
Setting up CNC machines:
- Check the prepared clamping devices and tools, adjust them where necessary and install them
- Load and unload workpieces
- Load new CNC programs or select existing programs
- Enter tool data and set the workpiece zero point
- Position the tool at the workpiece and perform collision checks
Operating CNC machines:
- Monitor machining processes for a varied range of multi-axis CNC components
- Adjust or optimise CNC programs where required and interrupt the machining process when necessary
- Carry out in-process quality inspections and perform corrections or rework where required
- Identify and resolve process faults or arrange for them to be repaired
- Detect machine faults and report them to the responsible department
What you bring:
- Completed vocational training as a CNC Machinist, Cutting Machine Operator, Toolmaker or in a comparable metalworking profession
- Initial professional experience in CNC machining
- Strong teamwork skills, reliability and a motivated approach to work
- Good knowledge of Siemens 840C or 840D CNC controls
- A strong technical understanding
