Jobbeschreibung
About the opportunity

We are looking for a CMDB Manager to own and operate the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and alignment with compliance requirements such as the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). The role involves managing the lifecycle of Configuration Items (CIs), identifying, updating and removing ICT assets, business applications and related information, enabling risk‑informed decision‑making, and supporting operational resilience across the organization.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain and enhance the CMDB, ensuring accurate representation of infrastructure, applications, services, and their relationships. Define and implement CI lifecycle processes, classifications, and relationships. This includes verifying CI data and ensuring it is accurate and complete.
  • Assist in managing ServiceNow Discovery schedules and resolving basic issues with the Discovery process. This may involve troubleshooting credentials and interpreting log data to diagnose and fix problems.
  • Help with data audits and reconciliation tasks to identify and correct discrepancies. Ensure the CMDB adheres to established data governance policies.
  • Generate standard reports and dashboards to monitor CMDB health and data quality. Assist in analyzing this data to help the team identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with other IT Service Management (ITSM) teams (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change) to ensure the CMDB is being used correctly and that data supports their processes. Act as a point of contact for CMDB‑related questions.
  • Identify, update and remove ICT assets, business applications and related information.
  • Keep an eye for topics for gaps, improvement and automation.
  • Ensure compliance with DORA, BaFin and internal IT governance policies.
  • Support change management by analyzing CI dependencies and potential impacts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (IT ops, security, compliance, vendors).
  • Provide auditable records and reports for risk assessments and regulatory reviews.
  • Drive CMDB maturity through automation, process improvement, and stakeholder education.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years in CMDB management, configuration management, or ITSM.
  • Experience with CMDB tools, preferably ServiceNow.
  • Understanding of enterprise IT architecture and CI relationships.
  • Experience supporting compliance/audit activities.
  • Familiarity with change management, asset management, and incident management.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Benefits
  • Accelerate your career growth by joining one of Europe's most talked about disruptors.
  • Employee benefits that range from a competitive personal development budget, work from home budget, discounts to fitness & wellness memberships, language apps and public transportation.
  • As an N26 employee you will have access to a Premium subscription on your personal N26 bank account, as well as subscriptions for friends and family members.
  • Additional day of annual leave for each year of service.
  • A high degree of autonomy and access to cutting edge technologies - all while working with a friendly team of peers of diverse nationalities, life experiences and family statuses.
  • A relocation package with visa support for those who need it.
