Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Purview Specialist in Germany to lead data security and governance strategies within the Purview platform. You will design labeling, auto-labeling, and retention policies, aligning with GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA requirements.

You will work with Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft 365 security tools to ensure comprehensive protection across data and endpoints. Strong communication in English and German is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Data Science or related field.
• 5+ years experience with Microsoft Cloud technologies; 2+ years with Purview.
• Citizenship in NATO member state or Austria.

Responsibilities

• Specialize in managing and leveraging Microsoft Purview for data security and compliance.
• Assess, design and implement information protection schemes for clients, including sensitivity labels and encryption, sensitive information types, and auto‑labeling capabilities within Purview.
• Design and implement Data Loss Prevention across the Microsoft 365 stack and user endpoints.
• Design and implement data retention solutions based on customers’ legal, regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design strategies that leverage Purview.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to data privacy and protection regulations.
• Develop and implement best practices for data protection and governance within Purview.
• Provide training and technical support to colleagues on Purview capabilities.

Requirements

• Citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member states or Austrian citizenship.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience: Extensive experience (5+ years) working with Microsoft Cloud technologies, with specialized expertise (2+ years) in Microsoft Purview.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring and managing Microsoft Purview, and experience with its integration with other Microsoft 365 technologies such as Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Endpoint, etc. (e.g., Defender XDR).
• Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of data protection regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA, and experience ensuring compliance within Purview environments.
