Your job highlight

You will be part of a platform service team as a cloud platform architect to lead the design and evolution of a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient shared-services cloud platform. In this role, you will define reusable infrastructure standards, enable cloud-native adoption, and ensure consistent service delivery across business units. Your deep technical expertise and strong presentation skills will be critical in shaping enterprise-wide platform strategy and aligning cloud capabilities with business goals.

Your new role

• You will architect and maintain a centralized, shared-services cloud platform (AWS-focused) that supports enterprise-scale application and infrastructure needs
• You will define and implement standardized platform services—such as IAM, networking, logging, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, and shared compute services (e.g., EC2, ECS, EKS clusters) - to be consumed by multiple internal teams, and maintain other core shared services, including centralized backup, patch management, secrets management, DNS, service mesh, artifact repositories, container registries, and audit logging
• You will develop and present architectural frameworks, roadmaps, and governance models to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic IT and compliance objectives
• You will automate platform provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), integrate enterprise security and compliance controls, and apply FinOps principles to manage platform cost efficiency
• You will mentor engineers, promote best practices in platform operations, and drive continuous improvement in service reliability, scalability, and developer experience

Your strenghts

• You have 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in cloud platform architecture with a focus on shared-service delivery in a regulated industry
• You have deep expertise in AWS (e.g., multi-account architectures, Control Tower, Service Catalog, Landing Zones), and experience building centralized platform foundations as a standardized shared services such as compute, monitoring, logging, backup, DNS, and secrets management in enterprise cloud environments
• You have excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to engage executive stakeholders and technical teams alike
• You have hands-on experience with Terraform or CloudFormation, CI/CD tooling, observability frameworks, and integrating security into platform services
• You have a track record of delivering scalable shared-services platforms that enable self-service, consistency, and operational excellence across large organizations
