Overview

Cloud Engineer (w/m/d) at TieTalent. The role supports the INNOVATION HUB 110 des Hessischen Polizeipräsidiums for Technik, building a multi-cloud ecosystem, advising teams on cloud adoption, and driving internal innovation.

Responsibilities

• Conceive a multi-cloud ecosystem and design/implement its architecture.
• Consult teams on their path to the cloud and support the Cloud Platform team in migrating to modern DevOps structures.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to advance technology and automate cloud processes.
• Drive internal technological innovation and establish best-practice solutions.
• Shape and implement cloud and infrastructure strategies with a high degree of autonomy.
• Support and advise specialist teams on their cloud journey.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with software developers, infrastructure experts, external service providers, and police personnel to continually develop services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (FH) in Cloud Applications and Security Engineering, Computer Science, Business/Administrative Informatics or a comparable field, or several years of proven IT experience relevant to the role.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
• Multiple years of cloud experience (preferably Azure; also AWS, GCP, StackIT).
• Experience with Git and with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in On-Prem environments is advantageous.
• Experience in network architecture and security is beneficial.
