Overview
Cloud Engineer (w/m/d) at TieTalent. The role supports the INNOVATION HUB 110 des Hessischen Polizeipräsidiums for Technik, building a multi-cloud ecosystem, advising teams on cloud adoption, and driving internal innovation.
Responsibilities
- Conceive a multi-cloud ecosystem and design/implement its architecture.
- Consult teams on their path to the cloud and support the Cloud Platform team in migrating to modern DevOps structures.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to advance technology and automate cloud processes.
- Drive internal technological innovation and establish best-practice solutions.
- Shape and implement cloud and infrastructure strategies with a high degree of autonomy.
- Support and advise specialist teams on their cloud journey.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with software developers, infrastructure experts, external service providers, and police personnel to continually develop services.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (FH) in Cloud Applications and Security Engineering, Computer Science, Business/Administrative Informatics or a comparable field, or several years of proven IT experience relevant to the role.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
- Multiple years of cloud experience (preferably Azure; also AWS, GCP, StackIT).
- Experience with Git and with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in On-Prem environments is advantageous.
- Experience in network architecture and security is beneficial.
