Cloud Engineer – up to 100.000 € – New Mobility - IT Security

Our client is an established IT company with around 300 employees and several locations across Germany. For nearly 30 years, the company has been developing innovative digital solutions for public transport and the mobility of the future. Their focus areas include e-ticketing, digitalization, on-demand transport, autonomous mobility, and mobility hubs.

Working closely with transport operators, public authorities, and ministries, the company is one of the leading specialists for sustainable mobility solutions in Germany.

Your Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and continuously improve secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments
• Integrate security mechanisms into existing DevOps processes (DevSecOps approach)
• Analyze and assess security requirements for new projects and customer solutions
• Collaborate closely with internal teams on architecture and design decisions
• Contribute to defining standards and best practices in the field of security
• Support audits and drive the continuous improvement of IT security

Your Profile

• Solid knowledge in DevOps and IT security – you don’t need to be an expert yet, but you should have a strong foundation and genuine interest in security topics
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes), automation tools, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar)
• Understanding of Java-based applications (Java, Spring Boot) is a plus
• Motivation to further develop your expertise in security and grow into a subject matter expert role
• Excellent English skills; German is a plus
